Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. Signing documents yourself is free and unlimited on every plan, including Free. Asking other people to sign uses one document from your monthly allowance per request.
Why do I need an account?
The signed PDF records who signed it, and your account keeps your saved signature and your signed documents. Creating one takes a minute.
Can other people sign the same PDF?
Yes. Add them by email and AutomaDoc sends each of them a link. They sign in the browser without an account, in the order you choose.
Is an electronic signature valid?
Electronic signatures with an audit trail are used every day for contracts, forms and approvals. Some documents (such as wills, family matters or court filings) and some official systems need another form of signature, so check what yours requires.
What happens to my files?
Your signed documents are kept in your account, where you can download or delete them. Each version of a document gets a SHA-256 fingerprint, and the verify page checks a PDF without uploading it.
Which files can I sign?
PDFs, and Word, Excel or PowerPoint files, which are turned into a PDF first.
