AutomaDoc for Microsoft 365
AvailableDocuments from Excel, SharePoint and Dataverse, made in Excel, Word and Power Automate.
Fill Word, Excel and PowerPoint templates from the rows of an Excel workbook, the items of a SharePoint list or the rows of a Dataverse table. Generate from inside Excel, write templates in Word, or make documents automatically in Power Automate.
What it does
- Excel add-in: select rows in a workbook and get a document for each, without leaving Excel.
- Word add-in: write templates in Word, with your column names inserted for you and the template checked before you upload it.
- SharePoint lists and Dataverse tables as data, including list attachments and pictures.
- Power Automate, Power Apps, Logic Apps and Copilot Studio: make a document in a flow with the AutomaDoc connector.
- Save documents next to the workbook, or write the status and a link back to a SharePoint list item.
- Sign in to the Company Portal with your work or school account.
What you need
- A Microsoft 365 work or school account. Personal Microsoft accounts (Outlook.com, Hotmail) cannot sign in.
- Generating from the rows you select in the Excel add-in needs no extra Microsoft permission.
- Saving next to the workbook, SharePoint lists and pictures, and runs nobody starts by hand (such as Power Automate) need your Microsoft 365 admin to approve AutomaDoc for your organization once (admin consent). Dataverse may need it too, depending on your organization's settings.
- AutomaDoc only acts as you: it reads and writes what your own account can, never more.
How it works
- 1
Your Microsoft 365 admin approves AutomaDoc once and deploys the Excel and Word add-ins from the Company Portal; the Power Automate connector is imported as a custom connector.
- 2
Sign in with your work account and choose your data: a workbook, a list or a table.
- 3
Choose a template and generate: one document, or one for each row.
