What it does

  • One request fills a template with your data: names, loops, pictures, conditions and QR codes.
  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF or PNG out, one document or up to 50 per request.
  • Ask for a document's status and get a download link, kept for your plan's retention period.
  • Templates use the same placeholder syntax as on every other platform.

What you need

  • An AutomaDoc account. Every account can use the API, whichever way it signs in.
  • A company API key, created by an admin in the Company Portal. Keep it secret: it opens every template of your account.
  • On every plan: documents count against the free monthly allowance, then your document packs. Requests are rate limited (60 a minute per template).
